When you buy from us, whether online or in the shop, you are helping to maintain the ministry and fabric of the Cathedral.

Exeter Cathedral relies principally on tourist income as we receive no funding from the Government for our work and the Church of England does not contribute to the upkeep of our buildings. It costs over £1.2 million each year to run the Cathedral, and income from visitors (through admissions, retail and catering) helps to maintain our site. We are passionate about conserving, preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Exeter Cathedral. We are also committed to continuing the tradition of the highest quality choral music that is at the heart of Cathedral worship. Your purchase really does make a difference to ensure the that the many and varied aspects of the Cathedral’s life and ministry continue 

The shop sells many ranges inspired by the Cathedrals magnificent 900 years of history; souvenir and reference books on Exeter Cathedral, the local area, religion; CDs of the Cathedral Choir, and a wide variety of unusual gifts and souvenirs to remind visitors of their trip, locals of their home or to make lovely gifts.
